Oh Rose. Don't hate us for loving Donna so much. In all seriousness this is fantastic news. Catherine Tate as Donna Noble, despite heavy criticisms in the community when she was originally announced for the role, has become one of the most beloved characters in the show and she is for a majority of fans the definitive Tenth Doctor companion. Her chemistry with David is fantastic. They are perfect together and for David's swansong it's right that Catherine return.
So this is great news. Especially for me. I
love Donna.

The Cult Of Pringles

The Cult Of Pringles are a super secret team who answer only to me (and in times I can't be available The Deputy Prime Disciple who is Noblerocks) and The Cult are The Disciples Of Donna version of The Cult Of Skaro. A superintelligent Donna obsessed thinktank who work out ways to promote the brilliance of our Goddess and our group.

Donna Noble Fans In Shock New Mental Condition!
In their desperation to see a glimpse of their idol, Donna Noble fans started seeing Catherine Tate's face everywhere. This strange affliction has manifested itself on people who don't really look like her that much. Psychiatrists postulated that until Disciples get a positive ID on Catherine Tate in Wales they will continue to see illusions of Donna on the most unlikely of people. This photo was taken in Wales and excited fans have started mentally placing Catherine's face on the woman in the picture
I myself am not immune to Donnitis (the scientific name for this phenomenon) and the girl at McDonalds morphed into Catherine Tate whilst serving me a McChicken Sandwich.

Looking Back: Partners In Crime

She came, she saw, she conquered. There have been a lot of doom-mongers, Doctor Who fans who think they know what's best for the show, who predicted Catherine Tate's character would ruin the show.
Not only were they wrong but it looks like Donna Noble could be better that I thought she was going to be.
Much better. She's essentially the same character we seen in The Runaway Bride but a little more insightful and wistful. Donna hasn't lost the ability to cut the Doctor down to size with her comments as witnessed by her dismissive attitude to the news that Martha fancied The Doctor. "Charity Martha!" She says in that usual Donna way. Catherine Tate captured Donna's longing to find something better in life for herself and special comment needs to go to Bernard Cribbins who is brilliant as Grandad Wilf: more scenes between them please!
Partners In Crime proved the naysayers wrong and it was a perfect opening episode for a series that promises to be the best so far.

It's that time again when I pay a visit to
Doctor Who Forum to report to you what everyone is saying about our Beloved Donna. Yes, the place is full of mad people (of which I am the maddest) but it's also the spiritual home of The Disciples Of Donna. So here's the gossip:

Donna can take it all - she's not the one who can easily be pushed to the back row. She will shine, I'm sure. And Catherine Tate will prove that she can't be overshadowed, either.

Yes he is! Tired (like all of us) of hearing unpleasant comments from a small section of fandom, Russell has unleashed his fury in the direction of these heinous, boring people who dislike Donna. This is what he said to SFX Magazine (taken from DigitalSpy):
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has blasted critics of Catherine Tate's performance as companion Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special.He commented to SFX magazine on the negative reactions to Tate's role in 'The Runaway Bride': "It was vitriolic. What are you going to do, cast someone according to what message boards are going to say? I think the great danger is that the writing of a drama becomes a public debate."The doubts about her, as far as I can see, are fundamentally stupid," continued Davies. "They say she's going to shout her way through the whole thing. They say she shouted her way through 'The Runaway Bride'. No, she didn't.
Literally, factually, no matter of opinion, no, she did not."However, Davies added that he is unaware as to whether the criticism was noticed by Tate: "I couldn't even tell you if she was aware of it, to be honest... imagine what she has to put up with doing that comedy show and being red-haired as well! Hello everyone. Welcome back to the segment of the blog that casts a massive Dalek-like (say that drunk) eye over the proceedings of the
